Lead singer AND lead guitarist for the metal band 'Children Of Bodom', at just age 29, Alexi Laiho has mastered the speed shredding skills required to play metal. Kirk Hammett of MetallicA even said he thinks Alexi is the best. Unless he has a broken wrist, he plays cleaner than anyone I've ever seen. Unlike the fakers of Dragonforce, his playing is real. Singing,well, more or less screaming and playing the complicated riffs he pulls off is no easy task, and he manages it flawlessly. Screaming itself is hard,but when you couple it with lead guitar playing, it becomes almost impossible. And that, my friends, is why I think Alexi Laiho is the best guitarist of all time.
