no explanation really needed.fast and exaggerated is not best. david is technically flawless. each note is placed in the right place like a fine craftsman. his sound is so clean and uncluttered it is amazing. what is surprising is there are really great guitarists who are not on the 100 list like martin barre from jethrotull, matrin turner from wishbone ash, dave murray from iron maiden and mark knopfler fron dire straits. i seriously think people live with their heads up their asses most of the time.
