Roy Clark

by Danny
(U.S.)

Roy Clark is one of the best guitarists of all time but is often not recognized. Partially because he played around so much. What was so amazing about Roys playing was what he did with his right hand, the "picking" hand. If you need proof watch his performance of guitar wizard on the Odd Couple, or his Hee-Haw performance of Black Saphire (Fingers on Fire). Many people spend a lot of time staring at the neck of the guitar and dont pay attention to the the magic that happens off the frets.
