Lets Face it, noone before or since could do what Jimi Hendrix or Stevie could do on a guitar. B.B. King is also up there just because what he plays isn't super technical but just has a ton of soul. best acoustic player is Andy Mckee, if you haven't checked this guy out you should, he has insane skills.
