The best way I know how to express what SRV did with a guitar is to say that when he picked up a guitar, there was an instant and electrifying connection between the strings, frets, and every element of the instrument and his very soul. He could,seemingly without effort, wrench every last molecule of sound from the guitar. It was,however,all the guitar had to offer, not nearly what Stevie's soul had left to give.
